Kate’s Garden

kate in the garden 2Welcome to Kate’s Garden CSA!

Hi, I’m Kate!  Welcome to my garden, a small, organic mixed vegetable farm in the heart of Billings, MT., where we grow for a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), local food co-ops and restaurant sales. We consider it an honor and a privilege to offer you the freshest quality sustainably grown produce that serves both you and the community

We’re not happy unless we have our feet in the dirt and green under our fingernails. Working with Mother Nature and all of her moods can prove challenging, but it is also very rewarding.

Seasonal value added products are made available throughout the year, like culinary salts and vinegars, lavender bundles and more.  We continue to grow and expand our gardens and products as demand increases and staff is made available.

There are many reasons why I, personally choose to farm, but here are the top 4.

  1. It is my desire to be a good steward of the land.  Nothing seems more beneficial than to raise wholesome, nutritious food that can be shared with friends and family.
  2. I happen to believe that fresh, locally-grown, organic fruits and vegetables are indispensable for optimal nutrition and health.
  3. I have a strong desire for self-sufficiency for myself and for the community.
  4. It is simply the joy of the whole gardening process that keeps me happy and grounded…working the soil, patiently watching the growing process, the taste of the first ripe tomato, and the harmony of the seasons.

Come join us in the experience of growing….people and plants!

“No occupation is as delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden.”    ~ Thomas Jefferson
